Bridal Car for Wakefield Town Hall Wedding

Wakefield Town Hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building, and after having undergone an extensive two year refurbishment is a very popular venue for Wakefield weddings.

The amount of great restaurants in walking distance also means that many couples hosting a smaller wedding are able to book their ceremony at the registry office, and then walk to a restaurant nearby for a reception meal with family and friends.

In this scenario we are often booked for one single journey to chauffeur the bride or groom to the wedding ceremony in style.

Yesterday we were booked for Karen and David's wedding for this very reason, ensuring that the lovely bride arrived at the venue in a beautiful car, refreshed and ready for her ceremony.

Autumnal Waterton Park Wedding

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of chauffeuring a very happy bride, her lovely daughter and the Father of the bride, from Horbury to the stunning Waterton Park in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

If you're not familiar with Waterton Park, you should know that it's home to Walton Hall - a Georgian mansion which sits on a small island surrounded by it's own lake. It's accessed by a pretty bridge and is straight out of a fairy tale.

The modern purpose built hotel and spa is on the mainland opposite the hall, and is naturally a very popular place for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

It was great bumping into their photographer, Kev at Image-I-Nation Photography, who perfectly captured the day and shared the highlights in a recent blog post. We do love seeing how the wedding day unfolded!
