Autumnal Waterton Park Wedding

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of chauffeuring a very happy bride, her lovely daughter and the Father of the bride, from Horbury to the stunning Waterton Park in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

If you're not familiar with Waterton Park, you should know that it's home to Walton Hall - a Georgian mansion which sits on a small island surrounded by it's own lake. It's accessed by a pretty bridge and is straight out of a fairy tale.

The modern purpose built hotel and spa is on the mainland opposite the hall, and is naturally a very popular place for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

It was great bumping into their photographer, Kev at Image-I-Nation Photography, who perfectly captured the day and shared the highlights in a recent blog post. We do love seeing how the wedding day unfolded!

Sheffield Restaurant Wedding Car

Daniel and Gemma tied the knot on a sunny Spring afternoon in Sheffield, and chose a purple colour scheme with different shades combined. We complimented the theme by decorating our Mercedes E-Class with ribbons in their chosen shades - Cadbury's purple and Lilac.

The wedding colour palette or theme is chosen by a couple for many different reasons; it can combine their favourite colours, reflect the season of their wedding, be inspired by their favourite place, or be chosen especially to compliment their ceremony location or venue. 

Either way the wedding theme is personal to each couple. And as both of our wedding cars are white, it lends them to being decorated accordingly and they look great in any colour ribbons.

The Mercedes looked great in the purple colour combo and the wedding ceremony and reception venue made for a great photo backdrop as their signage is also purple! The traditional pub, The Inn at Troway, is situated just outside of Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District, and enjoys pretty gardens and stunning views that make it perfect for a Spring wedding.

Bradford City Hall Wedding

We wanted to share a few photos of a recent wedding booking at Bradford Registry Office, located at Bradford City Hall. This wedding took place on a sunny Saturday afternoon and was particularly unique as the chosen theme for the wedding car's ribbons were Leeds United Football Club's team colours, blue and yellow. The colours looked great in contrast to the car's classic white exterior.

The City Hall in Bradford is a Grade I listed, 19th century building with many beautiful rooms including the Council Chamber, Lord Mayor's Rooms and grand Banqueting Hall. It's a stunning place to say your vows and is particularly notable for its high clock tower, and the arches that you can see in our photos below.

Our white Mercedes E-Class Sport was booked as the main wedding car, on a 2 hour hire package to chauffeur the bride and her Maid of honour to the ceremony at Bradford Registry Office. After the ceremony we also chauffeured the bride and groom to Lister Park, an incredibly picturesque public park in Bradford, where they had some photos taken with their wedding party and family members.
