Wedding fayre at Castle Park

Castle Park is the home of Doncaster Knights rugby and one of Yorkshire's leading event venues. They specialise in weddings and have several function rooms to choose from, including their Arms Park Suite, which has three private bars and a huge balcony overlooking the stadium's pitch.

On Sunday 14th May 2017 Castle Park Doncaster are hosting their annual wedding fayre and are offering free entry, canapés and bubbly upon arrival and goody bags! Bride and grooms to-be will have the chance to meet lots of local suppliers and get some great inspiration for their big day.

Our wedding cars

At the wedding fayre you'll find us outside the front entrance showcasing our luxury white Jaguar wedding cars. We're looking forward to talking to couples about their wedding plans and showing them around the cars.

Our shorter wedding hire packages are perfect for couples who are looking for a wedding car in Doncaster but don't need us for the whole day. Chauffeuring for the bridal and groom's party to the venue, and then photos with the car after the ceremony is a popular itinerary at wedding venues like Castle Park.

Bridal Car for Wakefield Town Hall Wedding

Wakefield Town Hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building, and after having undergone an extensive two year refurbishment is a very popular venue for Wakefield weddings.

The amount of great restaurants in walking distance also means that many couples hosting a smaller wedding are able to book their ceremony at the registry office, and then walk to a restaurant nearby for a reception meal with family and friends.

In this scenario we are often booked for one single journey to chauffeur the bride or groom to the wedding ceremony in style.

Yesterday we were booked for Karen and David's wedding for this very reason, ensuring that the lovely bride arrived at the venue in a beautiful car, refreshed and ready for her ceremony.

Above are a few pictures of her chosen wedding car, our white Jaguar XF Sport driven by Keren and dressed in dusky pale pink ribbons, at Wakefield Town Hall after arrival for the ceremony.

Spring Wedding at The Crown Hotel Bawtry

We've seen a big increase in Friday weddings recently, especially during the Spring and Summer months. Last Friday's booking was for a lovely couple from Doncaster, South Yorkshire who chose our White Jaguar XF Sport as their wedding car.

The morning began at The Crown Hotel in Bawtry, which was where the bridal party were getting ready and also the venue for the reception. We chauffeured all four bridesmaids to the church, St Luke's in New Rossington, and then returned for the bride and her Father. 

During the ceremony Keren prepared the car and the champagne bucket set up for the newlywed's journey back to the venue, and of course took some snaps of the car and the stunning blossom tree that stands in front of the church!

The Engine Shed Wetherby Wedding Fayre

Last Sunday we had a great day showcasing our new white Jaguar XF Sport wedding car at The Engine Shed's wedding fayre. The fayre was hosted by The UK Wedding Event, who are also planning the Elland Road wedding fayre which we're looking forward to exhibiting at in November.

Fayre attendees will know all too well that it was a pretty chilly day! So, we bounced between showing couples around the car and our champagne set up outdoors, and popping inside to talk to everyone in warmer surroundings about their wedding plans, and inviting them to enter our Hotel Chocolat hamper competition.

It was a great day meeting lots of couples as they looked around the venue and our wedding car. Thank you to everyone who came to say hello and entered our competition - keep an eye on our Facebook page where we announce the winner in November!
